Received calls from several different 202 numbers over the past several days, all the same.
IRS identified my ssn as being involved in fraud. Robot caller said arrest warrant issued and I was about to be arrested within the hour. Police cars were on their way to my address. I could avoid this fate by pressing "1" to talk to a case worker who could help me avoid this situation.

To begin with, I don't know why the IRS would WARN me in advance of being picked up by the authorities for having committed some crime, nor why it would take them an hour to get to my house - traffic isn't THAT heavy in my area!!! Also, what could this "case worker" do to prevent my impending incarceration?... With a heavy sigh, I hung up the phone and sat quietly to wait for the SWAT team to come breaking down my door, slam me to the floor, shackle me and haul my criminal @$$ off to jail. ...I wish they'd hurry up.. this was yesterday, and I've already missed out on meatloaf night at the nearest federal detention center...

Or maybe this was just some scam to try to frighten me into paying some crook to leave me alone??? I can't wait until they call again so I can have a little fun with them!!!

PLEASE don't fall for these pathetic scammers!!!
