1 I received a bogus phone call this morning at 9:26am from 1-613-416-8502 claiming it came from Canada Revenue Agency (CRA). They left this message: "This message is from Canada Revenue Agency. The reason behind the call is to inform you that there is a lawsuit that is getting registered under your name. So we want you to call us back at our department # which is 613-416-8502. I repeat 613-416-8502. Do call us back otherwise we may issue an arrest warrant under your name." I googled the phone number and many have already searched for the same number and declared this number as a scammer. I know for sure that CRA does not do this and I am very sure that I do not owe CRA anything.
