1 I received a phone call from this number today. It was an automated message telling me that I was supposed to have received important documents from the Chinese consulate. The message said to press 0 in order to speak with someone at the Consulate. I wanted to let someone know that I thought there had been some kind of mistake made and I pressed 0. The man who answered on the line sounded like he was saying something in a Chinese language but hung up the phone after I told him that I only spoke English. When I tried calling the number back, I got a busy signal. When I tried looking up the owner of this phone number, it was not for the Chinese consulate and the last name attributed to this number belongs to someone who does not even have an asian name. I do not consider this to be a safe number.
